Oxycon Y connector
Does anyone know how to (or know a good resource for me to look up how to) set up my 2 (not evenly matched) oxycons with a Y connector in a way as to prevent backflow and oxycon alarms going off?
My problem is I have no idea what search terms to use. I would look myself if I had search terms.
TIA

You're really not supposed to connect unevenly matched oxycons, but you might want to search for check valves. And welcome back.

She mentions in the other thread that they are both 5lpm machines. It's just that one is slightly stronger and the other has better purity set to between 3 and 4 lpm.

I beleive Jack Ridgeway had told me that you could turn the flow meter back to the equivlanet output and run two "Y"'d together.
For a quick answer, I would email David from Available Oxygen ... he is awesome to work with.

I just took a piece of tubing from tractor supply and a T connector and an end piece connector that screws right into my existing end connector on my oxy hose. I hooked my 2 5lpms, and yes one always worked better/stronger than the other. it cost like 7 bucks.. Super easy. Just set the flow to be the same outputs, then connect them, then check that they are still the same when you adjust at the torch.
