Default getting rid of reduction on turquoise

i made a set of plain turquoise spacers and the only spots I got the reduction was around the bead hole. I would not like to etch them. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? Will coke work or something else? Thanks

Take a q-tip and dip it in Etch-all, and just swab it over the reduction spots lightly, rinse quickly and thoroughly....it only takes a few seconds to work.

Yes, Coke will work. Use any non-diet cola, and soak for a while. I think I've even soaked beads overnight.

I third the vote. Can't get any easier than that! And it takes reduction off other things, too, btw, like rubino.

A quick dip in etch while they are still on the madrel is the quickest and easiest. Like 3 to 5 seconds.

Want something quicker than Coke, but not as scary at Etch-All? Shower-Power, the bathroom cleaner. It takes about an hour to brighten up scummy beads. I keep a little bottle of it in my 'etching kit' to reuse like Etch-All.
