Lampwork bead shape guide
Is there a comprehensive photo guide to bead shape names anywhere? I can't seem to find it but there has to be one...

I've never seen one but one way to write up your own guide is to go to all the press and roller manufacturers' websites and get your answers there.

Lois Sherr Dubin's book The History Of Beads has a bead shape table on page 342 with illustrations of bead shapes and the accepted name for each shape.

I have seen a few charts but the names are not universal. For example: press companies use different names. Most people will know what you mean though. After awhile you just know them.

There is a chart in the back of "More Than You Ever Wanted to Know About Glass Bead Making " by, James Kervin. Pages 263, 264...
Suggest this book for your reference library...

Here is a list of the press and roller manuafacturers:
www.zooziis.com
www.cattwalk.com
www.cgbeads.com
http://www.perlenpresse.de/en_GB
If there are any others, please chime in. But I think you will get the info that you need from these four sites.
