Imploding Red
Is there an opaque red that works well in implosions? I'm looking for a red that is highly saturated so that it stays a nice solid red. I want a red that doesn't thin out and turn orange. Any suggestions?

Red exotic if you are looking for the more purple side of red.

NS-Poppy and NS-Cherry Red. If I had to pick one, I would pick the Poppy. The batch I have handles heat a little better than the Cherry Red. As to which one is redder, I guess the Cherry Red is just a tad redder.

Forgot about TAG Red Reef. Nice red but is a little too 'brownish' for my taste. OK some of you will scream but I see a subtle brown tone in it.
The red elvis over GA red crayon sounds nice, I'll have to try that.

It might make it a little easier to work with too.

Thanks for all the sugestions everybody! Now I've got some more experimenting to do.
Found this quote while researching reds thought it was apropriate....
"If one says 'Red' – the name of color – and there are fifty people listening, it can be expected that there will be fifty reds in their minds. And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different." -- Josef Albers

Just about any cadmium red or orange works nice this way - with varying shades.
