Default What size tubing for lined beads

Hi, I have the Impress tool. I have had it for a few years now and never used it so its time to play but I dont own any tubing. This is the website i am going to order from because someone else on LE recommended it for OZ:
https://www.aemetal.com.au/Webstore/...tss000000.aspx
Could you please advise regarding what sizes i should buy for most standard size mandrels? I have mandrels from Arrow Spring. I have a quarter inch mandrel and then some standard other sizes. Any advise regarding what mandrels to buy and what size tubing to buy is greatly appreciated. To initially practice is there a cheaper metal?

Have used the Impress with Sterling Silver tube from Indian Jewelry Supply for Pandora style beads. However have no idea of suppliers in Australia.

Their order number is STTB27x5MM

Hi Sangita,
Visit my site (click the links in my sig) and check the FAQ and instructional links. You will find answers there. You'll need a centering peg or Flaring Die for each tubing size you use. The tubing OD should match the mandrel, and you select the proper peg or die to match your tubing ID. Peg sizes are listed according to Tubing ID and OD but you can ignore the OD when selecting your pegs or dies. (Flaring dies are basically just centering pegs for tubing that is too small to use with the standard pegs. They also provide their own flattening surface and screw into the bottom post like the pegs do. Flaring dies are 1/2 price right now if you buy all three sizes. I can also make custom sizes of pegs and dies at no additional cost but I think I have pretty much all the bases covered already. Email me at dave AT my site for one on one help if you like.
Regards,
Dave

I am in Australia and ordered from A&E initially but had problems because the wall thickness was to thick. I now order from ginko on etsy, it's actually cheaper because US postage rates are so much better than ours ...
