Default Maybe compatibility problems w/ effetre 211 & 018?

HI,

I've found a new favorite color combo and wouldn't you know it, I'm suspecting there might be some compatibilty issues. Has anyone ever had or know of problems with effetre 211, Sage Green when it's encased with effetre 018, light transparent brown?

They're both handmade colors. Some beads come out great, some split right down the middle (for which, I raised my kiln temp to 1100 and get them in there still glowing), however, I have some that split horizontally and vertically into a cross shape. Is that thermal also or something else?

Could these handmade colors just be tempermental? Any help would be awesome!

I've used the 018 to encase the 211 many times . . . love it. I haven't had a problem. With the bead being split right down the mandrel it sounds as if it might have gotten too cool while you were encasing.
