I actually considered bringing some of glass inventory. But the thought of trying to figure out what people want was just too much for me to deal with. Maybe next year.

I found some, finally! Loaded up! We are getting ready to check out and hang around the casino for about 7 hours, until the 8:45pm shuttle for our 11:55pm flight. I'll sure be glad to get back home...but definitely not to something like you came home to. That has to suck sewer water...pun intended.

Glass Craft is a fantastic show and it was a very good year to be there for many reasons - wonderful new members of ISGB, welcoming back those that renewed, and working on the Gathering in Houston - a great weekend. And...our booth was next to our amazing friends from Bethlehem Burners (Rachel, Kate, and Eve)...so much fun!

Truly enjoyed seeing so many glassy friends and meeting people who I felt like I already knew from LE...and of course, spending time with dear friends is priceless.

Thank you to Patty and all of the Las Vegas Management team for another terrific show! Here's to 2015!

Is there any information, tips, tricks and suggestions for attending glasscraft expo 2015 in vegas? It will be my first ti eata glass and bead show, first classes, and first trip to Las Vegas. I have been lampworking for 8 years or so, so I am prepared that way. Anything anyone could share would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Laurel

Hi Laurel,
There is a thread in the Family Room about the show. I have been teaching there for about 10 years and I always have a great time. What classes are you taking?
I'll be in classroom D-12...stop by...if I can answer any questions - let me know

Lisa

Hey all you folks going to Glass Craft Expo in Vegas in April, or those who are thinking of going, here are some links to my classes. The Thursday Fish class is full! The crossover class is a torchwork class where we make components for fusing. The Sculpting classes are using luster glass to sculpt fish, hummingbirds and manatees. I also have a beginning tubing class where we make vessels, hollow fish and my blown seashells! Hope to see you there, it is a super fun event, stop by my classroom-D! or my booth B1 & 2 and say hi!
A link to event, then pick instuctor and my name to see my class info: https://www.glasscraftexpo.com/classlist.php…
