Default Tie Dye Beads?

Years ago there were lots tie dye beads & I cannot find instructions/tut.

I think a twistie (of certain colors) was laid next to an opal yellow stripe & the colors "unzipped"...into a tie dye look.

Anyone remember?

Anne Ricketts had a couple of wonderful tutorials for tye dye and batik beads but they don't seem to be available any longer.

Contact Ann if you are interested in any of her tutorials. I have purchased some from her in the past year.

The twistie was copper green and EDP with a line of intense black
When you lay it over/next to a stripe of opal yellow these colours bleed into the OY.

Looks good on a black bead...etched

I remember this combination, I think it was an entry in a 'spotlight on' - one of Corinna's leaflets done on reactive glass. I don't remember the artist who submitted the color combination & application, but the 'formula' seems to be what Nicole said. Really pretty affect.

Just in case you are wondering if they are still available, yes, they are on my website only though, got rid of my Etsy store. www.amrglassworks.com

If you make a twisty of EDP and any shade of coral with a center of rubino and lay it on opal yellow, copper green, or turquoise, it will "bleed out" into some gorgeous colors

There's a video on You Tube, can't remember who did it. Worth watching.
