What kind of tools have you found versus buying the expensive ones? I am always trying to save a few $ here and there.

Don't think I could make beads without my needlenose pliers. I like them much better than tweezers, they are easier to hold for me.

Butterknife

Brass letter opener - antique stores are a great place to find these cheap.

Regular thin blade scissors cut glass fine.

spoons. and my really old needle nosed pliers that were my dad's before i got my grubby lil hands on them 20 years ago or so...
