Default Effetre Sandstone

What do rods of Effetre Sandstone look like? Has anyone got a pic they can share?

Yes...kind of rough and grayish ivory. I really wish they still made it.

I really love it! It looks à lot like Ivory but it doesn't have the spreading properties

In the Netherlands it is still for sale.
I buy it at Artyco.nl

Thanks everyone, do the ends have dark streaks in them? I thought I sent some off to someone, but it sounds like it might be something else!

Dark streaks would probably be Fossil.

Thanks Kay!

Julie, I have some Fossil (both Dark & med, is there a light?) & the rods I have are very streaky on the outside. These were not as streaky but I guess it still could be Fossil if batches are different.

Ohh well, she will know if it's what she wants, I guess .

Thanks Sheila, I went through my orders & I have never bought Fossil Light ( or Ivoryish) but I have bought Sandstone so hopefully that is what it is.

You have to use either a Hothead or your lowest flame possible and work further out to get the best streaks in blended glasses like these. Two much heat and your streaks will become blurs.
