Default Fill K tank to 2000psi with concentrator?

My torch is a Carlile CC and I own two K tanks. Instead of swapping them out at the gas distributor can I hook one up to a concentrator and let the concentrator fill it to 2000psi? If so, any suggestions on what size and brand of concentrator, how long it would take to fill the tank, the purity of the oxygen and very importantly the noise that the concentrator would make (do I also need a compressor? and does the concentrator just plug in to a 120v outlet?)

NO! You would also need a step compressor ($5000ish)

A tank fill system can be put together for much much cheaper than $5k...visit the following link for documented proof.

BTW, I tweaked the system to fill a K tank in about 19-20 hours using two 5lmp invacare oxycons and two homefill compressors.

I would not even mess with trying to go to 2000psi.....

But you could use tanks as "tank" instead of holding tank (air compressor tank) used in description of system below..... Or maybe sell "k" tanks to help finance new high volume/low pressure system

Look here....
