So here is my outting. Love the tut. I worked in BE glass. I made one with antique white and gray tones and one with light peach cream with cinnamon swirl and woodland brown.

There little so they are hard to see.

Laura, those look yummy! I love the white you used. I may have to try these in BE also. That white also would make good jellyfish, a la Mary Lockwood's tutorial.

I'm glad you're all liking the tut! More bead porn, please.

Thanks for the tutorial Angie. I have done these before but didn't put the stripes on the outside, and yours look way better - I'm going to try it this way, thanks again.

This is a cool tutorial! I'm gonna try it Wednesday when I get back to my studio. I've done something similar but with an opaque center... I love it with a clear center! Looks way more like a barnacle that way.

You can use your barnacles to decorate Halloween beads too! You can make washed-up bones, etc and stick some barnacles on them for that authentic look. Here's a skull I made with a couple of barnacles on it:

Angie: Fantastic tut and great pictures! I had no problems at all making perfect barnacles!
I found this thread through the May edition of SLT. Awesome tut on the ocean beads in there!
I will (hopefully) post my pics of them when they get out of the kiln, can't wait!

Hi Lezlie! Thank you so much! I'm glad you found this tutorial, and my ocean bead tut in the SLT, to be helpful. I can't wait to see the pics!

Angie: This is the one I did today I am so thrilled with it!!! I posted it on my FB page and it sold almost immediately to a gal in Ireland! And I have several requests for more! So my ocean bead is going over the ocean, how appropriate!
