Ah, pinks can be tricky. It sounds like too much propane or too hot and it boils the color out. I don't know what kind of torch, hotheads can be notorious for that since you have to keep your bead in the flame. But a good way to start is to check the flame for the sweet spot with a rod of white glass. if it discolors, turn down the propane or move it higher in the flame- away from the torch face.
Pinks that are worked cooler, higher in the flame, tend to do better. It's a lovely glass so worth working on. It will come up again with other colors until you master it.
