Default Precision glass?

If you had never tried a Precision product, which color would you try first and why? TIA, Dianne

Precision 104 is made by Northstar.

http://www.northstarglass.com/catalog_pc.asp

My favorites are Rembrandt and Black Pearl, followed by Garzoni and DaVinci Double Amber Purple, Van Gogh, Abe's Ivy and Sasha's Silver are nice too!

You can buy them at ABR and Frantz and other vendors.

DaVinci 2 (Double Amber Purple) and Sasha's Silver are my favorites.

(I believe Rocio only carried one TAG color, Dalai Lama, which she sold as Dali. The other R4 colors were Precision, but some were renamed.)

Davinci DAP!! OMG, when the colors "work" for me I'm in love with nothing else
(well....almost nothing else). Sasha's Silver? whats that supposed to do? someone gifted me 1/2 a rod to try and I didn't get the magic in it

Sasha's Silver will strike or reduce. I get pretty dark blues.

None of the reducing Precision colors hold luster under encasement for me. Since that is my favorite way to use silver glass, I pretty much stick to Double Helix for reducing colors.

I've never gotten DAP to do anything for me other than look cruddy. Obviously I am doing something wrong!

Black Pearl is my very favourite. Also, Rembrandt (I think) is an excellent alternative to DH Gaia and seems to reduce better to boot. I also love the very light green Garzoni, which looks killer when used as stringer on Ivory.

I've got some (what everyone thinks is probably) Sasha's silver that turns an amazing blue and green snake-skin looking thing when you use Amy Kinsch's webbing technique. I also *love* Rembrandt. Monet is good too.

I have some Picasso that refuses to do anything for me at all. lol

Picasso Silver Blue is my favorite.
The reduction cycle takes some patience, but the results under clear glass turned out beautiful.
