WoW! Girls, girls, girls...awesome work! I love it all!! Haven't torched for 4 days straight - an absolute first for me...I'm going to "take some artistic license", add a little variety - okay, downright cheat, and show you a pic of my newest obsession: PMC!

Looking great, Brandie! I love that first pendant! Thanks for the nice comments about my leaf...Nagi, it's not difficult to do - just best done with a plan as the work-time is somewhat limited. It took me over a year to open my first package, researched everything I could find, and now I cannot seem to stop!

Val, it looks like you are getting the hang of the PMC thang! Your leaf is beautiful! Is the ring also PMC or hammered silver? Looking forward to seeing where you go with it! Brandie, your work looks really good. I love that first pendant! Yum!!! Nagi, thanks for the kudo's... You can do PMC in your glass kiln no problem. An easy way to use it is to make little press molds from shells and such out of 2 part silicone cold molding putty.

Here are three pendants that I made yesterday and coldworked today. The one on the far Left has a much more intense green dichroic inside than the picture shows.

Everybody's stuff is looking great! I was just checking out some of our early stuff from when the boro room first started, and the progress since then is just amazing.

Paula, great sculptural! I hope they do well on ebay.
Suzanne, those are beautiful.. I love how they all fit together. How long did it take you to make allllll of them?
Kiko, wonderful shells. Love the autumn colors.
Val - oh no, another hobby! It's lovely though. You did a fantastic job.
Eric, those are very, very cool. They look like they've been unearthed from an ancient tribe.
Trudi, nice set of black eyed susans. One of my favorite flowers! Great colors, very poplular right now.
Pipyr - those are mind blowing!! Thank you for sharing!
Kare - what an innovative idea!! You can take that one far.
Well, here is my first boro post. I just took Brent's class two weeks ago and have been playing mostly with color, and a little with the movement of the glass (but mostly with color!!)
Shoot, there are so many neat reactions.. I am just completely lost in them. Figuring them all out will give me practice on the shapes, so it's all so much fun.
(Sorry for being a thread hog!!)
A wonky Smiley heart in Aurora encased in clear.
A pendant in Aurora, also encased in clear - worked a little longer in the heat that the one above.
My favorite pendant from class - Amber Purple over white with clear.
This was so cool..it went into the kiln completely black, and look what came out when it cooled - Amazon Jewel encased in clear. Kinda wonky - but gave up on it when it looked boring and black.
Tan Silver Creek with dots of clear.
Tan Silver Creek encased in clear then tortured.
Silver Creek (no clear) - so neat.. I know it's bad to keep the silver on, but it made such a nice contrast - frosty light blue against the dark blues and purples.
Ok, if you squint and tilt your head, this sort of looks like a flower. LOL.
Sorry again for picture overload!! Really having fun with the boro thing. Soooo many cool colors!!

Pipyr I think Phoenix is the right name, they are sweet!

Thanks everybody! And yes, Trudi, Brent was an awesome teacher. He really knows his stuff. And he doesn't yell when you don't get it right away. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try out something new and fun!

Love the floral pendant. I've got a question. When I last made one, the stamens in the middle of the flower got all squashed out. What am I doing wrong. Just flattening the maria too much as I go along???
