Default Propane Hose type

Hi all

I did a search but nothing really popped out and I wanted to add another little nugget to look out for.

There are 2 main grades of hose you can hook up to your propane or NG.
Type R - used exclusively for acetylene.
Type T - used for fuel gases, like propane, MAPP, NG, etc.

Big difference is that The type T is oil resistant, flame resistant and the rubber doesn't react with the fuel and decompose.

Use type T. It should be marked on the hose.

And Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Holidays! Anything that gives you happiness this season.
