K the numbers appear to be Reichenbach colors. Those generally are sold by single color then people mix them to make various blends

First digits are the color number. The -1 etc is the size of the grain. 0 being smallest.

WOW thank you for the info! So the frit would work OK with 104, just in small amounts?

Peace Wendy

Reichenbach numbers usually start with R and are not usually 4 digits. Bullseye numbers are 4 digits. The bags look like the ones OCR uses. Hopefully the glass is still in production somewhere. I wonder if Shawnette might have a clue. If the numbers are strictly something the original purchaser made up you may be out of luck. Do you know for sure what the coe is for the glass?

I've always used the same schedule as 104 & 96 glass. I never had any problems using that annealing temp.

Wow yeah I don't know? It's not Reichenbach as Andrea said, or bullseye, punching the numbers into bullseye's site bring up no glass with these numbers. (BE is coe 90)

Same with Uroboros.

I tried randomly googling the numbers and I can't find anything. "glass frit 4246", or glass rod 4246 etc. A few companies use 4 numbers, but still no hits.

Only use 3 numbers, drop the 4 at the beginning

This could turn out to be the original glass color numbers for rod that was later made into frit. Could turn out to be a company that no longer is producing glass. You might have to do stringer testing to even find out the coe. Are any of the bags different sizes of the same color? When I make frit with the machine DH made for me I end up with a couple of sizes, mostly 1 and 2 but some powder and size 3 bits.
