Lampworking games
I couldn't find a thread on this. We are having another group of flameworkers over to our studio for a fun social evening of torching, food and drink. I am looking for party games that we can play at the torches. We will have identical mystery boxes with glass, metal, tools or no tools,etc.. and a time set to each create something with these materials. We may also do a pass along Bead where each person does something to add to the bead and then passes it along. Does anyone have any other suggestions of what we could do?

Guess the rod color.

Similar to what happens at Glass Stock with the flame off. Usually broken into rounds, time set to think about a subject "things that go bump in the night" "things you ride", then open bag to see what the glass, is Boro/soft/mixed. then light torch and go for a set time. Last round is usually a beer bottle

A list of things for each person to add to their bead which can take whatever form which might take the person in that moment.
Like
1.Make a base bead (round/long etc)
2. Add a flower
3. Add eyes
4. Add a stringer spiral
5. Add a poked dot
Etc etc.
Then have the fun seeing how everyone interprets the brief and enjoy the results

One of the teachers at Lilies had a "zen lampworking" class, where you had to let go of anything YOU wanted to do. It started off with everyone selecting the colors of glass they wanted...And then passing them to the person on their left. Then the instructor walked around from person to person telling them what to make. "Add a flower onto your bead" "Use this stringer" "Hand your bead over to the person to your right" and so on.
