Will keep the CG plain sampler roller another week or two waiting to hear if I can move it to someone, anyone? By the end of the month, if I still haven't passed it along, I will mail to CoriDawn.
Still hopeful I can try another press or roller from another player. Anyone??

That's the sad part. Many rollers and presses have been 'forgotten' by people, and remain with their current people for months on end. Others have been sent back to Corridawn, and she is so busy, and doesn't check here, that we don't know what is where anymore! Best thing to do, is read the posts backwards, and when you see a press you want to try, contact that person via pm, to see if they have it!

It was tricky and I can't say I ever got really good with it. You have to build everything on the end of the mandrel. I kept pushing too hard into the press and then the end of the mandrel would push through the bottom of the vessel and the glass would crack after it came out of the kiln. It takes some finesse. The one I liked was the one that looks kind of like a tiered cake.
