Zoozii has one and I think either Perlenpresse or Bavarian Beads, too.

I get supplies from here-
http://www.dlawlesshardware.com/knob-making-bases.html
or here-
http://www.bigceramicstore.com/threa...set-of-10.html
I don't make anything directly on metal, rather on a mandrel with bead release that gets cleaned and then epoxied to the insert (if I'm using that kind). For the other ones, just a cab/off mandrel that gets epoxied.
Just one way, others do it differently.
These are made on a mandrel and used epoxied inserts. They live in the kitchen.

Those are beautiful I especially like the starfish. I'm thinking of making a mermaid tail pull for my daughter's fan if it ever cools down outside.

Thanks. I made seashells for the fan pulls in the kitchen to keep the theme. We've got a long way to go before it cools down. lol

I also have a bunch for vessels that double as knobs.
http://cgbeads.com/beads_vessel.html
and yes, Zoozii has the hardware kit portions.

I was just going to suggest one of the beadrollers for shaping. I'm currently trying to decide which one I want to get for the same thing. Thank you for starting the thread.

8 years ago I made all the knobs for my kitchen, laundry room and three bathrooms using the kit that Zooziis sells. I've had no problems with any of them. And they really jazz up the place.

I do the same as Rebecca. I go to the hardware store and buy couplers and bolts that match, make the knob on mandrels that match the o.d. of the coupler, then epoxy the coupler into the glass knob. Drill through the cabinet, insert the bolt from behind and tighten.

I go to hardware store and get couplers and bolts and a threaded rod that I use as the mandrels....thread the coupler onto to the "mandrel" but not quite all the way to the end....I fill the end with potters clay or play dough and let it dry.....that way no glass gets down the opening in the coupler and you can unscrew it from the mandrel when knob is complete. I build directly onto the metal coupler.

I like the burgard studios knobs, because you can change out the beads when you're tired of them.

Ellen, those are great. Did you hand shape those square knobs? Great job!

I didn't. I used Zooziis square disc knob press.
Thanks for all the compliments.

I made this one for a small cabinet directly on the screw... I think I was lucky to get away with it....but it isn't used much..
