Default Brass .875" Push Lampworking Tool - just added to my Etsy shop

More sizes coming soon... Meanwhile, though, here's a brand new tool in my Etsy store.

.875 inch Brass Push for Beadmaking, Lampworking and Glassblowing

This Brass Push is the ideal solution to the graphite push. Brass not only moves glass more easily, but also does not break when you drop it or set it down too hard on your worktable.

Use this tool to make perfect donut holes or recessions in glass pieces. For a donut hole push in from each side of the piece until they meet together then open with an octagonal reamer or smaller push (soon to be available).

Has a beautiful hardwood turned handle - looks steampunk. Each handle is handmade, so your push is actually a one-of-a-kind piece. The threaded portion goes all the way down through the handle, so your reamer won't twist off. Handle is about 5" long, brass portion is 1.6" long.

Works on both boro and soft glass.

Does not come with the bud vase - the bud vase is only pictured to show a possible use for the tool. You are purchasing the tool only.

Hmm I will want the smaller push when it is available. As well as the current one. And the brass base for the Arrowhead Marver. Keep these coming, they are great.

Thanks Barbara - I need to get a new drill bit for the metal and then I'll actually have three sizes available. I'll also have that brass stand in a bit - sorry for the delay!

Karen - Thank you!
