Has anyone use this yet? I ordered some from Frantz hoping to get this:

Little to no pink. Anyone else have results?

If you do a search, I posted the same question recently. It is a nice lavender-gray-blue but the pretty pink streaks on the rods essentially disappear.

Not sure that your rods look like the ones I got. Mine kind of look like Alexandrite wrapped in a Coral. You can see it here in my frit testing chart:

The beads were done with a HotHead. I'm wondering if the pink isn't burning out in the hotter flame you're using. I see you have a HotHead. Try that and see if that doesn't help retain your pink.

(If the link doesn't work, edit the s out of your browser. It should be "http" not "https" Sometimes LE put in an S just for the heck of it.)

I got some glass from Frantz that looked nothing like the pictures posted on his site. When I asked about it I got no response to my questions. I suppose to be safe you almost have to place the order over the phone and ask about every color you are unsure of.

I was just going to say.... I'll bet HH users could get the pink striations to show. Some glass does not like it hot, and the colors will melt together too much with an oxy/propane torch. It's easier to get striations with the HH. That's why I still use mine instead of the Bobcat sometimes.
