Default "Inlet Airstream Temperature" rating on fans

I've searched and I can't find any advice on the Max Inlet airstream temperature rating on most vent fans. Some are rated at 104, some at 140, but none really seem to be high to where the exhaust plume of a torch would be. I do know that the normal mixing of makeup air at a high CFM will cool the exhaust quickly. Some of the pictures of funnel venting systems seem to be strong enough to actually pull the flame towards the funnel, and it seems to me like that would make the airstream very hot.

Is that a problem ? I did melt my first venting setup built out of "found" parts, and I've improved greatly since then, but should I be worried about temperature when designing my next system (my third completely different setup).
