Who would you buy an Oxygen Concentrator from???
Ok, I need complete honesty. Who do you recommend buying a oxygen concentrator from? Who would you not buy one from? Give me the good and the bad. Thanks!

I'm another vote for Pyronamix -- kbinskter. She's incredible.

ABR/Dichroic Imagery also very reliable. Bought an MP 15 from them, and they even offered to fix an MP 5 that I had that was from another company. Excellent service.

Pyronamix -- kbinskter. Bought a Regalia from her and would do it again without a second thought.

Extreme Oxygen
Aloha!
I have to vote for Extreme Oxygen. They have bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to make sure i was satisfied with my H-1 that I got through ABR Imagery. The delivery carrier damaged my unit en route to me and Extreme Oxyben basically sent me a new and improved replacement! Check it out below. They added the decals

I just bought an M-20 from Unlimited Oxygen and I couldn't have asked for better customer service. Jack and his crew are great. There were plenty of questions on my end and always an answer right away. It arrived safe and sound in the time frame they gave me.

kbinkster without a doubt. I would buy from kbinkster at pyronamix in a flash. I love my regalia and consider it the best tool I have.

You have to contact Extreme Oxygen to get prices. I got my EX-15 from them.

Another vote for Pyronamix. kbinkster is the best. I had lots of questions after my M-15 broke after using it for only two years and Kimberly answered them without making it a sales pitch. She did not sway me towards any concentrator, just gave me the facts. I decided to get the Regalia and I am way more happy with it than I ever was with my M-15. The good thing about the Regalia is I can get it fixed locally if it ever breaks, with the M-15, I have to send it back to Jack to get it fixed and it's costly to mail it back.

Aloha Tabatha!
Cori is right. You can contact them directly or you can get one of their machines through ABR Imagery who is having a SALE on the concentrators Reenie from Flame Kissed Glass also carries their machine.
If you contact them, you might not get to speak with Paul directly as he and his wife , Hollie just had a baby boy but Michelle, a family member, will be able to help you out. They are great on responding to emails and phone calls.

Started with an Unlimited Oxygen unit replaced with a Regalia from Kbinkster @ Pyronamix. Kimberly is absolutely the best. She is very knowledgeable about oxycons and the various torches. In addition to offering the Regalia, she also works with a supplier for reconditioned oxycons. Kimberly takes the time to figure out what you need and fits your budget.
I also noticed in a thread in the Sale Area that Mountain Glass Arts has reconditioned Regalias with free shipping this month. Mountain Glass Arts is an excellent vendor and the Regalia is a top-of-the line oxycon with trouble-free operation. It's such a great deal from a fantastic vendor that I was tempted to order a second Regalia.

You know I got to thinking that maybe posting what type of torch I bought might be helpful as towhat oxy-con I need. I bought a Bobcat. I also got one in a custom color of Tahitian Teal with black and silver valve caps. Does anyone else have one in a custom color they might like to share?

My only advice would be to get the regular green and red caps. In case of an emergency, i would prefer not to have to think about which one is oxy and which is propane. But that's just me .

Aha - yeah, teal is close enough to green. Sounds pretty.

who ever you get one from, you will want to know how to repair/work on them. since shipping them gets expensive.
i have (3) 3yo huricanes from Jack UO. and he has been great about sending me spare parts.
i had the sieve beds re poured last year. and i change out the cup seals and orings every 6 months or so. these are <4$ parts and now i dont have to send them back ($100 shipping, no thank you) to have them replaced. its easy once you know the trick.
reciently i had a release valve, power switch and compressor all fail on me and Jack sent me new parts. the compressor actually broke the piston shaft....that was crazy to see happen. the power switch i got from radio shack, easy fix.

I got 2 M-15's from Jack at unlimitedoxygen in July for $350 each and I wish I had gotten them 3 years sooner. They run my barracuda very well. I broke one of the green screw thingy's that connect the tubing to the concentrator and Jack Priority-Mailed me a new one and 2 spares, free of charge. He also sent the hoses and y-adaptor along with the concentrators. I recommend his products and service.

Reminds me of my youth when all my friends had to know how to repair their American cars so they could keep them running. I bought a Honda and just had to take it in for oil changes.
I've had my Regalia for 4 years. I have filters on order and I'm going to have it serviced this summer when I'm not torching but it has been incredibly trouble-free to operate.

I've bought concentrators from Kimberly (kbinkster) twice and have great experiences both times. If you buy reconditioned concentrators, hers are fully reconditioned, unlike some others on the market.

Nothing except to quote her signature line:
"my email is broken. If you need me, please try PMing me here or on Facebook. I am a little behind on messages, so please be patient with me. Thanks. Kimberly"
