Default What is this stuff?

Hey, I got a bag of fruit that looks like sand. It looks scooped right off the beach. I put it on a small black bead and it reduces like silver glass, irridized. I have had it for a good fifteen years. I don't know where I got it, sure don't know what it is. Not iris gold, it's sand??

It's probably 96COE for glass blowers. I've got #0 to #2 sizes, and the #1 is the one that looks like beach sand. Useful in small amounts on the surface of 104COE beads.
