This was my fist attempt. Not as blue as yours though so maybe I need to mellow out with the white enamel but I sure loved making it. I also used a poker and not a stringer on the waves which didn't give it that little curl I needed. I'm taking it easy tonite and about to go make another one!!!!

ps a tip on getting the stringer off after making the wave curl: Wait a couple seconds for it to cool then knock the stringer on your torch head, close to the bead- give it a good rap!

It should pop right off, makes a much quicker wave bead, less waiting to be able to get the stringer off the bead, plus makes it less likely to move the bead around on the mandrel messing with your bead release.

Thanks Jenelle.
I also used another blue instead of the sky blue opalino I think. Made another one last night...Darker sky which looks much better and I used the stringer and yea I rapped it a couple of times. The rest came out easy after letting it cool a bit.
Still not perfect on the waves but still....This is such a fun bead to make. I recommend it to anyone!
