Default torch recommendation

i am new to flameworking and would like to buy a torch. mostly for sculptural work with borosilicate. any suggestions on what would be a good torch in the $300-$450 range?

GTT Lynx for that price range is perfect, IMHO.

Ive never tried a lynx but my mirage kicks arse.
I have a carlsile also and have tried several other torches and none compare to GTT, IMHO.

Your centerfire is a Lynx. So, if you have ever run just the center fire, you have run a Lynx.

Yup, GTT is the only way to go!! Get the biggest one you can afford.

I have a Lynx but I got to try a Cheetah and wow was it ever cool!!!!!!
I like both but if I were going to work bigger I would go for a Cheetah!

I also have a Barracuda which I love!!!
