Default What is happening with glass prices

I have noticed a change in glass pricing to increments of 1/4 lbs substantially more that previous pricing.

Remember the cost to get the glass here has gone up substantially.
Not to mention the new tariffs. I think they are now in effect.

More expensive supplies to make the glass, less competition....they can charge a better price for their glass and still have sales. And yeah, I think tariffs might be in effect, now

Tariffs are in effect, and glass rods are specifically in those tariffs. I will be curious to see if prices drop when tariff are taken off and the inventory has time to turn over.

Any idea when and if these tariffs will be removed?

When the President decides to take them off. Even then, I don’t expect the prices to come down. Once an upward threshold is established, unless sales drop off significantly, the new price will stick.

Time to dig out all that glass I'm not using.

Makes me glad I bought out the dude at Big M in Tacoma when I finally realized Spectrum was out of business! Only thing I'm short on is clear.

And yet people are selling their beads at hobby lobby prices or worse, that makes it hard to justify price hikes for glass.
