Paragon Fusion 16 Fiber Top?

Why would one want a fiber top on the inside of a kiln vs. the regular top that Paragon puts on? Buying a new kiln and want to make sure I get the right setup. http://www.clay-king.com/kilns/parag...fusion_16.html
