Default Boro Raku-like colors?

I love the colors in a pretty Raku -- what colors would produce that in boro?

NS Caramel or GA silver strike 5 can get some of those colors if properly struck, as can amber purples over an opaque color, but overall boro works a bit differently.

I'd suggest that you look at pictures of boro pieces in the show and tell and when you find one you like ask questions. If you see boro pieces elsewhere, check with the artist, or share a link to the photo and we may be able to help.

Glass Alchemy Amazon Bronze was designed to look like Raku. It is overloaded with Silver
and Copper.

I think that the Raku the OP is asking about is Reichenbach Iris Orange glass - not the Raku pottery which Amazon Bronze emulates.

IMO Amazon bronze looks nothing like the Reichenbach. It is a dark reddish brown color which gets little blobs of metals and iridescent oil-slick swirls of color on the surface.

Here is a link to the GA page for it: http://www.glassalchemy.com/amazon-bronze-287.html

Like I said, look at the show and tell and let us know when you see something similar to what you want and odds are that you'll get some great advice.
