Default Photo Studio in a Box - Opinions?

I'm looking for a setup for taking digital pictures and stumbled across this:

Studio in a Box. I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the best photo lights and all that jazz - any opinions on whether this set up is decent for $100?

Thanks in advance!

That looks good, and the price is much less than what I spent on my setup...

I got my set up from this guy on ebay:

It is nice but I did get some things in the kit that I do not use...

I thought it was an excellent set up and I ordered it today - Thanks for point this out to us!! I tried the plastic box, but had no way to keep the lights standing up, etc. This comes with special lights that are on tripods and tripod for camera, and just seems ideal.

Noooooooo! I built my first, similar to your studio in a box for wayyyy less than $100. That's not even remotely worth that much money!

Recently, though, I picked up this one on Ebay and it works great:

I use clamp lights ($5 @ Home Depot) with 100 watt Reveal bulbs. He does sell a complete setup for $65, which includes the lights. (cheaper to just buy your own)

Recent pics using this setup:

I'd have to say, this is definitely the best buy out there.

Oh, I forgot to mention that it folds up. I have it set up on one of those fold up tray tables. Disassembles in mere seconds.

I just got my Studio in a Box. I couldn't get enough light to make it work like I wanted. I think I will like it a lot once I have used it a bit. It is neat how it all fits in 1 carry all
I got mine for less than 100.00
