Yes, this is open to anyone who wants to attend. Also, we are accepting donations of all sorts of products for the silent auction and raffle. As well as any glass to be auctioned off at the first gallery reception for the final piece, will all proceeds benefiting Learning Landscapes.

I would also like to thank all of our sponsors, especially Northstar and Glasscraft/Winship! Without them, none of this would be possible!

I looked at the web site and it looks like it's geared toward glass blowers. Is there a need or a place for beadmakers?

I realize that the event is mostly geared toward glassblowers; however, we are trying to build a community that includes everyone interested in glass. This year's event is only the beginning. But, yes we would love to have as many bead makers as possible show up and contribute! The final installation will be cold worked together, so soft glass elements will be able to mingle with the boro. As you know, Northstar has a line of coe 104 glass, and Glasscraft carries many types of soft glass as well. The event will be fun for everyone both days! Also, donations of beads and jewelry will be welcome and appreciated for the raffle and art auction. We would love to see you there!

Only one week away! We would love to see everyone there! Glasscraft is giving amazing discounts on Saturday, and Friday's party is going to be tons of fun! Great raffle prizes, get a deal on equipment in the silent auction, and watch the amazing color pulling straight from Northstar's crucible!! Did I mention free food and beer both days?!!!!
