Smile flower pendant

Hello,

I am new here, and to glass working, I love it, and what I am seeing, and learning here is awesome! Thank you!

Bead_bug posted a tutorial about silk ribbon dying, but my eye caught the flower pendant

does anyone know of a tutorial or something close, so I can figure it out. I really would love to try these.

Thanks,
redbutterfly

Make a donut spacer. Add raised dots all around. Add other colors on top of raised dots until you have stacked dots. Put your raised dots around donut (make sure you melt them in so they don't have hips.) Heat a stack and use your pliers/tweezers down the center to flatten into petal shape. After all petals are mashed, add little dots to the tips. Fire polish and garage.

Mona,

Thank you, I think I understand. I will give it a try...and maybe if it's good enough I will post a picture.

That looks familiar (and I don't usually look in the ribbon threads). Was there a tutorial for it in GlassLine or The Flow recently?

I did a tutorial for a similar flower in the first issue of the Annealer Magazine. I don't know if you can back order any copies or not though.
