Default Dragon Eyes tutorial or Advise wanted.

Lampworkers:

I have been making attempts at crafting Dragon's eyes. Imploded Iris--- but difficulty creating a dark ring around the iris. Anyone know if tubing is best for building an Iris or Rod? Anyone know of a Tutorial for Dragon's eyes?

Below is one of my attempts

Thanks,

Steve R

This is a fabulous tutorial for making eye cane- https://www.etsy.com/listing/1699813...f=sr_gallery_1

And I found this in the boro tut section- http://www.glassartists.org/Gal38339...s_tutorial.asp

Yours looks like a VERY cool Zombie eye.

Pipyr had a great one....not sure if it's still advertised here or not.

Pipyr's tutorial is terrific! It's for both soft glass and boro.

Good luck

The Flow used to have a link to one by Wicked Glass that I love. I'll see if I can find the link.

It's not free but I think the charge is nominal at best.

I tried the flow magazine tutorial but couldn't get it to work so I improvised. Still a work in progress.
PS. Don't know why it posted the pic sideways.
