This tutorial is worth every penny IMO. You learn alot of Kandice's color combo and just the pictures alone are worth the $$. I think this is a musthave.

This was the first thing I wanted to try when I started lampworking. I still can't get it right most of the time. I can't wait to learn from the expert!

Thankyou, Kandice. some of the stringer looks dirty because I encased it with a brown. They are just trials. It takes more practice than you think. eh?

I highly recommend this tut! I thought I was pretty good with stringer but she's got some golden tips in it that helped me be more confident making more complex decorations in a larger size bead than i usually make.

Wow Kandice.. I sure am glad that you posted this question when you did because I didn't even know this tutorial existed until you did.. and (as soon as you send it to me, the knowledge shall be mine!!!! (Muwawhahahahahaaaaa).
Between you and Kim.. who knows.. the two of you may turn me into a lampworker yet!
Even with all the detail work I have done in my life (much of it with a torch).. the very attempt to control stringer seems to set off a sense of panic in me. I can't wait to learn from your tutorial.
Thank you SO much for writing it!!!

I've been meaning to post pictures but you know how that goes....
I love this tutorial. It's really jump started my ideas for mixing colors too. I still need practice on scrolls but I'm much more proficient on the corkscrew method as shown in this picture. Sorry for the crappy picture.

This is a must have tutorial!

Those are beautiful beads Donna! Is that opal yellow on the base color?
I love how that orange encased stringer glows.
