Default Greens That Do NOT Bleed (or Bleed Less)?

Do you have any recommendations for greens that do not bleed (i.e., do not have to be encased)?

Can you rank green colors from no/less bleeding to more/most bleeding?

Thanks for any and all who know and share!

I'd love to see this answer too, but I have not come across any. I'll be watching this thread.

Aloe Vera by ASK doesn't seem to run.

Have you tried the new CiM Commando and Olive? The Commando is a lot like the dark Elphaba Unique and the ASK Med. Olive.

Effetre and Vetrofond mosaic green does a lot! Surely avoid those, unless it's the look you're after for certain things.

I'm going to test the Effetre sage green (#19?) that I have. I don't remember if it bleeds or not. I'm heading to the torch this afternoon. I hope I remember to check in later. Heck, I hope I remember to test it later.

Thank you Carolyn, Tammy, Elizabeth, Paula, Lisi, and Jeanette (whether or not you remember to test and/or report on Sage green) for taking the time in answering!

I’ll be off to order some green after I hear about the Sage… or this evening if memory fails…

I could not imagine a green named Elphaba (El-Fa-Ba) – so I looked it up and find it named after the Wicked Witch, LOL!

I use CIM peacock unique and I love it for a great transparent green that isn't fussy.

Are you looking for any specific COE?

Elphaba will bleed with prolonged use. It's the bead in the second column.

Some of the Effetre greens can be seen here:

I don't have a pix of the transparent Sage Green online, but my bead charts don't show any bleeding with this one.

Stacie - It looks like I need to buy a bunch of the CIM glass colors including peacock!
Kay - Those are awesome charts - the Elphaba looks pretty good overall.

Thanks!

Kay, the information on your site is absolutely invaluable. Thank you so much for taking the time to test such a large chunk of the products available to lampworkers.
