Default Help with Striking Transparents

I have been attempting to make a few basic beads w/ Effetre Striking Red, Yellow and Orange. I would like the beads to be transparent when done. I am currently working on a Mini CC w/ propane and an oxygen concentrator and am working at the end of my flame.

Can anyone give me any tips?

P.S. excuse the less than great photos, that is another issue I need to work on.

I am not sure that is possible. They always go opaque when I strike them.

I work them way back in the flame, slowly let them turn colors, but it seems that you are doing that..? how 'bout turning down the Oxygen a bit? I find that hotter is not better.
