Default March Boro Showcase, Show and Yell! Lets see those boro beauties!

Here is my new design, It happened sort of by chance. I was going to do some leaves with bug eggs on them, but this was the result. I call these
Pods. They feel great in the hand, and are much prettier in person, I can't seem to get the color to come across in photo's.

Here are a few things from me...

First is some of that new lined tubing from GA... neat stuff. I'll try to take more pics of the tube and rod stuff I've been messing with.

same pendant, front and back...

and some of my new hearts... one even has a little dichro!

and two more Event Horizons... really wish I could get better pics of these two.

Oh my, i could just dive into these amazing pendants Smiley! That first pendant is breathtaking. Mary, i love those, how tactile and Loco, those are crazy mad. i just have to smile everytime i look at galleries to see what comes out of people. Just imagine if we were all alike, we would have nothing to look forward to. Ok, my drugs and fever are going to my head now, i am feeling pretty profound, ha

Wow, love that Vortex pendant, Brent!

Here is a fumed implosion pendant using a technique from Chad's Marble book. My fuming is still hit and miss...sometimes too much....sometimes too little, but this one turned out ok.

I like how it tastes Chris... very nice!

Sweet pendant Eric! I've made something similar and turned them into hearts... didn't get the book, but I may have to ad it to my library some day. Try cutting one... they're cool!

Wow, those pendants are awesome Brent and Eric. Everyone is contributing such interesting stuff so I found something a little different to show... Here is my "alien flower". Kara tells me it looks like it is carnivorous..and that it looks better in person. Welcome to borosilicate land =)

Happy March!!! Everything so far is awesome!!! I had a fab day at the torch today. I almost didn't wanna show these since it's Brent's thang and he does them better than I ever could, but I was just practising and I'm pretty jazzed about these! Brent taught us these in class, look what an awesome teacher he is.
I was playing around with some opal chips too. Tricksy little buggers.

Rebecca, those are cool! It's not "my" thing... now it's yours too! That's the beauty of passing something along... it becomes "ours"...

your best bet with the sculpting, is to do it in sections... you can anneal them all, and do a cool down and work from there, (easier and less likely of cracks and burns)

well done on that
