Liz, I bought Nikon D40 from Yeepers just over a year ago. Takes fabulous pics but I never use it. I always go back to my small hand held. If you are interested I can give you more info. I'd really like to find it a great home.

We have a Nikon D5100... it's an amazing camera, worth looking into.

I have a Nikon D80 and love it. I would never go back to my little hand held camera for my beads photos, not enough resolution.

So how do you like your camera? did you find it to be user friendly? I ask because I have a nikon coolpix and had decided not to go with nikon again when I upgrade. I have never been happy with my photos, granted I'm not a photographer.

If you have the funds available the Nikon D7000 with the kit lense is a great camera. I buy most of my equipment from B&H in NY there web site has everything you could ever need.
