Default press for melon beads ?
I want the grooves to run parallel with the mandrel but the only presses I see are quite crude...any suggestions?

my best suggestion is to email Perlenpresse they do custom work and the prices are reasonable. Bavarian beads has this one but its not oval like I think you are wanting

Bavarian Beads does make an oval one too. I bought it and love it, very easy to use.
