Murine source with accurate pictures of product
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a source for murrine that provides accurate pics of them online. I have had bad luck with ordering a specific murrine that I see on the website, and receiving murrine that does not resemble the pic on the site. Example: I see a really neat dragonfly on the website and order some, but the dragon fly I receive is a different color, or of inferior quality to that displayed. Don't want to name the supplier in question, just want to find a better one.
Oh, and yes, I do make my own murrine, but sometimes I run out and need something in a hurry.
Thanks much,
Eric

boro room ... very likely he is looking for COE 33 murrine.
I'm no help on finding it on that front. I'm pitifully disappointed with what is available and have toyed with attempting my own. Not sure my little Bobcat can handle it without me dying of frustration though.

So I think that is mostly what Greg Chase is making right now.

Thanks Kathy. Hadn't checked out their shop recently. Way too much 104 and 90 murrini in my shop to be tempted to buy more.
Marcel ... thanks for the link to the FB group. WOW

Looks like he only has three in there right now anyway. I don't know if etsy is where they are listing the boro regularly. If you message them though, Deanna will tell you. I am seriously bummed that he is moving away from soft glass murrini pout.

i only bought once but i think West County Glass Art & Supply looked like the picture and it was good stuff. I got mine through etsy they sell both cane and chips here the link to the cane.

also here is another facebook group more geared for collectors but artists do sell on there.

I can vouch for West County Art Glass. They list new mille on facebook every day under Wcg Mille. Very nice work.

Thanks everyone!
I normally make my murrine during the winter while my studio is cool and I have a lot of time to focus on it. Once it gets hot, and show season starts, I stop doing it.
