Default The OTHER silvered stringer

I oosted this on the isgb or wc a few years ago...In my convoluted and often WRONG perceptions about edp I figured that it would do wonderful things with silver. Well it does. Along with applying it to the surface I pulled it into silvered stringer. It gives a neat effect like ivory does but it is a warmer, earthier tone and ... if you melt the stringer all the way in, and let it cool like in my tutorial and THEN reheat...you can bring some gold ruby to the surface of the stringer.

OK I don't need to hear how crappy my beads are... I have learned to live with imperfection... I am going to try this again and concentrate on it a bit more. These were kind of quicky beads...

Very cool! I have on my to-do (at some point, the list grows faster than I can accomplish the tasks) is to try silvered stringer with various reaction colors. I like how these look!

Thanks for sharing.

I don't think they're crappy at all - very nice, very nice indeed! Nice photography too! Thanks for the info on the stringer also.

Cheers
Kathy
