Default Screw on torch question

OKay here's my new problem. I purchased a supposedly used "Hot Head" torch and it came today. It is imprinted with "Bernzomatic". It doesn't even work well. But if it did....could it be used?

Probably not even close to a HotHead...

This is what real HH looks like....

What you probably have is "hardware store" version of "plumbers torch"...
