Where to Buy Electroform Kit?
I'd like to get started with electroforming, but I don't want to buy a crappy kit, and I'm not sure which one is best. Here are the ones I came up with so far. If you've tried any of these or know anything about them, please post a comment or two. If you've had issues with your kits and don't want to air them here, would you send me a pm? Here are the ones I've been looking at:
Elerctroform Kit by Sherri Haab
Electroform Kit by Glass Diversions
Thanks for any advice or comments!

if it were me I would just buy a DC variable power supply (runs about $50-$80) and assemble the remainder of the items myself.
That being said, the second set up looks more complete and the power supply is way more versatile than the one in the first link.

I just got mine setup. Here is the power supply I got for $60. It doesn't say so, but it comes with the banana plug/alligator clip connectors: http://www.mpja.com/0-18V-0-3-A-Vari...nfo/9600%20PS/
I bought the solution from Rio and Sherri Haab's graphite paint. I'm using cheap plastic mixing cups from Tap plastics to use as beakers (about 70¢ each). They are made from the right kind of plastic and come in large sizes with markings on them for measuring. I also got lids so I don't have to pour the solution back into the bottle every time. Copper for coiling came from Home Depot. 10 feet of 8g wire cost me $9.

/\ THIS /\
You can make your own solution, it's easier to buy the paint from one of the many different suppliers
Then read...
