Default Reduce shadows in pics

I learned a really cool trick...perhaps you already know this but it's new info to me. To reduce the background shadow in pictures, use a white background with wax paper in front of it. Works amazingly well

I can't quite visualize how you're suggesting to set it up. Will you explain a little more? Are you saying to put wax paper on top of the white background or are you using it as a filter?

The wax paper is the backdrop. I'll tell you what I do: I have a white box. In the white box I prop a piece of white poster board that is covered with wax paper. I then arrange my bead set up in front of it and take my pictures. It doesn't eliminate all of the shadows, but it does most of them. Let me know if that didn't make sense to you and I'll post a picture of my set up

Ah, so it stands up behind the beads? Thanks.
