Default Earring post glue

Hi, I make dichroic stud earrings and have yet to find a fool proof glue. I have customers return the earrings because the glue has failed. What glue works best for you? Thanks. Lynn in NH

I rough up the back of the cab a little, and E6000 has worked well for me. I haven't had any returned in over a year.

And I've been using two-part epoxy, but I must warn you, buy small containers of the epoxy. The smallest you can find. After a few years of sitting on the shelf, the two parts of the epoxy go bad and don't catalyze(?) properly anymore.

I use e6000, I apply a glob on a piece of cardboard and use a small metal tool to apply the glue.
It lets me reduce and avoid a lot of the excess glue and glue thread issues.

Hi Lynn,

I use since long time the same epoxy glue:.
http://beachbuggy.at/en/others/158-b...-adhesive.html
But you must prepare very well the glue surfaces.
You should remove the fat of finger (with pure alcohol) and scrach both surfaces with abrasive paper.
If you do not prepare well the glue will not hold.
