Firefox problems

I downloaded Firefox which I love...I've hit a brick wall, well...it feels that way.

The problem is I decided to do a simple Mailto hyperlink from my webpage for sales instead of the Paypal buttons for the time being. I got the mailto hyperlink instructions and did the hyperlink. But it wouldn't connect.

I read somewhere that firefox has trouble reading the codes?

Does anyone know about this..any short cuts? I read on a help forum that I had to go into the firefox webbrowser and change things..I am not that good at computers to do a whole page of changing things around just to get a simple mailto hyperlink.

Firefox works fine with those kind of links for me. Make sure the code for the link is "mailto:yourname@yourdomain.com"

Hi Lorraine,

How about a javascript solution. This will also keep the spambots and mailbots from harvesting your email address to sell to spammers. Just copy it and paste it where you want to have an email link.

Hi Steve, I just now got back to this thread..It just doesn't seem like it could be that easy??

I just copy everything you have here..nothing more and paste it on my web pages where I want it??

Yep, it is that easy, unless you have changed your email address.

Give it a try, then check it. If it does not work take it down, but it will.
