Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon
I've had a request for a bead with the pink awareness ribbon. Is there a mold, tool, tip for doing this. I am thinking I want it small. Thank you.

there might be, but the point of the ribbon or its image is to raise money for breast cancer research - if you make it and sell it will you give the profit to charity?

Not sure what you mean Deb. I am well aware of what the ribbon means. I am asking about a way to put a ribbon on a bead for a breast cancer survivor.

De (the Glasszone) has some beautiful ribbon murrini. Very pretty on a bead!

I've used those newer darker rubino rods that came out, encase in clear and pull into a thick (maybe 3mm) stringer. It strikes in the kiln nicely. Good luck!~

I've made a ton of these always using stringer - sometimes raised, sometimes not. I've put the ribbons on black, some of the browns, etc. Anything that the ribbon will show up nicely on.
I've made them for survivors, "thrivers" or family members supporting a loved one. I've sold them and given them away.
When I sell I have not always given the money to research. Last year I made a "pink" necklace that I sold raffle tickets to and gave all the money to Susan G. Komen.

I have been thinking of making a ribbon with pastel pink on one side and rubino on the other to give the 2 tones. Maybe I'm making it too difficult.
