Default Green Avocado

I'm looking for a nice brown...kind of like the color of a Chocolate Lab...anyway, I've never ordered Green Avocado, and the name would make one assume that it's "green." I'm looking at a picture of it and it looks brown. I assume that some of you have tried it....

Is it brown????
Thanks!!!!

I haven't tried most of the chocolotta variations at Frantz, but maybe one would work?

Sage is very close in color to avocado. Not a chocolate color at all

You might want to add Kandice Seebers website to your favorites, she does some extended color testing for CIM and tests other colors as well, you might find your brown on her blog

http://coloraddictionblog.blogspot.com/

Lauscha Cocoa has a greyish undertone in it, making it a cool brown, for a warm brown I'd check out some of Kuglers browns.

My parents chocolate lab looks like CIM Maple, but you might have to give it a dip in etch.

For opaque, perhaps either Vetrofond Lt or Dk brown? The batches I have don't seem quite as red as Moretti browns.

A big thank you for your input. I did order some Lausha Cocoa and report back! I'll keep these other suggestions in mind.

I HEART Avacado and sage! Y U M Y U M Y U M! really, these colors are amazing. you can do lots with them. I would not say deep dark chocolate, and Lauscha coco is REALLY dark. Sage is more brown. I have a rod of an unknown divardi that is really really brown. I have also seen a rod of effetre that was brown, but i think it was a fluke from a while ago. Try Kulger light tobacco or CIM Mink.

Actually avocado reduced gives me a golden brown. Also buckhorn with silver might work if not encased or worked too much which lightens it.

Here are some custom beads I did with effetre choco-lotta.

My rods are a bit shocky but I LOVE the color. You might be able to score some in the garage sale section if someone has some they don't want anymore.

I'm thinking red brown ...it's like chocolate on a cupcake! But even Chocolate labs vary in color.

Chocolate Labs come in many shades of brown. I'm sticking with Lauscha Cocoa.
