Default Ventilation System Calculator

Hi Everyone,

I thought some time ago, I ran across a thread discussing the correct fan size to get per your own studio set up.

I have purchased a hood vent that will install directly through the ceiling and out and want to check my numbers to make sure it will be enough fan for my little mega minor. The Fan has 400 CFM, 264Wof voltage power.

Anyone have the info handy????

Thank so much for the help!

I believe it is 100-125 CFM per sq. foot of hood opening. So if your hood opening is 2ftx2ft, you would need a 400-500CFM fan. If your hood opening is 2ftx3ft, you would need a 600-750CFM fan.
